The Manchester United website says:
Reports suggested that multiple fractures to the fourth metatarsal in Rooney's right foot could see the United forward out of action for longer than the initially stated six weeks.
However, the club confirmed in a statement: "Despite stories in the press, we believe Wayne Rooney is still six weeks away from full training.
At this point, they're just playing games with our minds....
