England can wait until the eve of its first World Cup game to replace the injured striker Wayne Rooney, according to the bureaucrats at FIFA. Although countries are required to name squads by May 15, England will be allowed to name a replacement for Rooney until its first group game, against Paraguay, on June 10.
Nice to see how Rooney makes FIFA turn...
