Italian Serie scandal grows: More players questioned

Italian captain and Juventus players Fabio Cannavaro and French striker David Trezeguet were picked up for questioning by the prosecutors as part of the investigations into allegations of match-fixing, illegal betting, manipulation of referee assignments and suspected false bookkeeping that have dogged the Italian Serie for over a month now.

Juventus is the focus of the scandal and the whole Juventus board along with chairman Luciano 'Lucky' Moggi resigned. But other clubs involved in the investigations include Lazio, AC MIlan, and Fiorentina.
