  1. Referees are trouble in this world cup. I’m not enjoying the matches any more. The red card in today’s match was too harsh and unfair. Now, the match is a joke. If Germany plays against Argentina in Qfinal, do we expect someone of Argentina seeing red card ???
    Yesterday the goal against Korea was a joke, what a mockery of world cup match. We are seeing some world class players, but not world class referees. FIFA should be responsible for this. I guess, soccer fans like to see a match of 11 vs 11, red card ruins a match.

  2. I thought the goal v Korea was a bad call too but if you scroll down and check out the video there’s a closeup shot that shows the ball deflect off a Korean defender before the goal, so it wasn’t offside afterall.

  3. The point was that the linesman raising the flag and bringing it down immediately is disturbing. No team will like that. In the Mexico vs Arg match a yellow card was also very confusing, could not understand who made the foul and who got the card.
