In a word, no. None that match that one, but there are some smaller ones.

1) US win over England in the 1950 World Cup, not much attention then but it lets us point back and believe that we have a soccer history in this country.

2) Pele coming to the Cosmos. A little to early for full blossom but set the seeds for the emergence you see today.

3) 2-0 win over Mexico in 2002. Smaller group that understands how important this is, but it was the first time that Concacaf undisputably had two power teams instead of one. Mexico v. USA will grow into a great rivalry.
