I must admit, I was doubting his abilities after the first game. But Ronaldo proves everyone wrong, much to the delight of all us cynical fans.

My man ronaldo is the next soccer legend... he will maintain his top scorer title for a while and i'm tired of people hating on my fellow brazilian so dont hate. he is gonna be the best for a long time
Sternip, if we you can make up rules and reasons why he isn't the greatest, then anyone else can make up reasons why Juste Fontaine isn't the greatest either.
Just because he played on many World Cups doesn't make his achievement any worst. Quite the contrary - being a good enough player for a national team for that many years isn't something to be taking lightly.
Greatest goalscorer? You mean scorer of the most goals. Considering there are more games at modern world cups and he has played in more world cups than any of the other people on the list.
I would say Juste Fontaine is the greatest ever world cup goalscorer.
