Marcello Lippi Steps Down

It's always nice to leave on a high note.

Apparently Lippi is tired of hearing his name mentioned in connection with the match-fixing scandal involving four top Serie A clubs, including champions Juventus, with whom he won five Serie A titles and the 1996 Champions League in two stints as coach between 1994 and 2004.

Is there going to be a Juventus? That's the question!

Leave Lippi alone, the real problem is Italy having 13 players part of the "scandal" on the world cup "winning" team. Italy should be stripped of their 2006 World Cup Win (even if it means nobody wins the cup this year! So no I'm not saying give it to France). If FIFA was to make this happen you can rest assured no more scandals would occur in the future or ensure countries would make the punishment much more severe. Currently all they received was a slap on the hand for getting their fingers in the cookie jar!
