Egypt has always done well in the CAF. This is their fifth title as they won the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations against Cote D'Ivoire (Didier Drogba's PK was saved). However their World Cup ventures have always been unsatisfactory. 2010 could be their year.

Good point! Egypt is an enjoyable team to watch, they were competitive in '90; wasn't that the year, Ireland and the rest of the teams in that group all tied on Win-Loss-Draw points; but Egypt got left behind on the tie-breakers. Egyptians will inform you as well; that their youth teams have caused stirs. Why not?
