Hold your horses. It is that rubbish Rupert Murdoch mouthpiece the Sun that is reporting this. I have gone to the German sources and there is nothing on this transfer. Here and here
Uli Hoeness says no go >>
That should settle the matter.

if the player wants to come he comes end of story. bayern just have to get the best possible price for him.carrick and owen in the midfield doesn't sound to shabby.Klass jan huntelarr of ajax would be a great replacement for RVN, he bangs in goals for fun in holland just like ruud did before he joined us. C'mon fergie make the move(much'much cheaper than torres, adriano,or tevez who are way above united's price tag)
Yes i think that Owen will be coming to us. He wants to come and if he wants to come then he will come.I think Owen will be a great signing for us. He'd play the perfect role that we've been missing out on the last few seasons especially with carrick also in the bag of transfers. One more thign that i would wish for is that we fill the gap for Ruud. Hopefully Torres but ok if he cant come then what about adriano. i think we'd have a very good chance of winning the premiership if we just get one of them.
I'll bet a £100 we will be playing for United
Owen Hargreaves wants to go to Old Trafford and in these days it is the player who decided and not the club. It's the player's future and no-one is going to mess with his desire to join the biggest club in the world. Why all this fuss if Hargreves wanting to go to Old Trafford? It's the place to be. Sorry all you scousers and cockneys.
