Brazil president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has suggested that Brazil should play another peace match, this time in Lebanon, following their visit to strife-torn Haiti to play a friendly in 2004.
"Lebanon needs the Brazilian team," he said. "Maybe it's time ..... to play a game in Lebanon for peace." He also said that the country needed to build at least 12 new football stadiums if it wanted to host the 2014 World Cup.

Elsewhere in Brazil a referee faces suspension after TV replays showed that the goal awarded had been scored by a ball boy!
