Italian World Cup winning Captain Fabio Cannavaro is giving his whole hearted support to World Heart Day which is due to be celebrated on sunday the 24th of September.
The World Health Federation and UEFA are uniting to encourage sport as a way to stay healthy and live longer.
Other news regarding Italian football is that their National Olympic Committee Vice-President - Luca Pancalli - has been appointed the new head of the Italian Football Federation.
When asked what was needed for Italian football to clean up its act, Pancalli replied: "Lots of hard work and dedication with one objective - to restore calm."
And perhaps to mend some broken hearts!
