John Toshack , Ryan Giggs and other members of Wales team, while on their way to play the Czech Republic in their opening Euro 2008 game had an emergency on their flight when the windscreen on their plane cracked in mid air.Wales boss Toshack said: "I had a reputation for being good in the air when I was a player but I could not do anything about this. Of course I was concerned. When I heard the pilot call urgently for the cabin crew I was worried about what was happening."
They had to switch planes eventually to complete their journey.
