A lone goal by Louis Saha helped Manchester United beat Benfica .
Sir Alex Ferguson got the "bloody different result" he had promised but the game was not one that could be compared to the one played 40 years ago down memory lane when George Best destroyed the Benfica of Eusebio.
"Benfica against Manchester United is very special for me. Benfica is my real club but Manchester United is my English club. We are together in history. The glory of our clubs is like this" - said Eusebio as he laced his gnarled fingers together.
