The moment we were all waiting for came when Alan Pardew finally brought out Carlos Tevez, in the 61st minute in place of Marlon Harewood. Suddenly, the Hammers looked dangerous, with Carlitos showing that nifty footwork and speed that he is famous for. Anyways, the Hammers love him already. We now await Javier Mascherano's debut.

Aston Villa looks like a club that is going to be very tough to beat. Gareth Berry, Stephen Davis, and Stilian Petrov, were the pick of the players. Martin O'Neill has done a fantastic job with his team.

Bobby Zamora scored his fifth goal in four games to give the Hammers the tie. The Hammers were lucky that they were not three goals down due to great saves by Anton Ferdinand and then Tyrone Mears highlight of the game, the goal line save that kept a sure Petrov goal away.

There was a Kia Joorabchian sighting, as he checked out his new acquisitions for West Ham. I have seen Kia in TV clips pictures and and I can tell you he does not change his expression too much.
