Belgian first division team Royal Charleroi's case against FIFA for compensation to them for injuries sustained by Abdelmajid Oulmers while on national duty promises a bleak future to International Football if the landmark court case is successful.
If they win , and clubs become entitled to compensation while their players are away on international duty, there are fears that most countries would be unable to fund national teams.
