World's Best Team

In July and August this year 43,000 professional footballers belonging to the 40 professional organisations across the world that form FIFPro received voting forms in a secret ballot to choose four defenders, three midfielders, three forwards and goalkeeper to make up the World XI Team.
55 players have been shortlisted and the final World XI will be announced at the FIFPro World XI Player Awards ceremony in Athens on 6th November 2006.
Chelsea heads the list for the most nominations with eight.
AC Milan ,Barcelona , Juventus ,Bayern Munchen , Real Madrid, Manchester United ,Arsenal, Inter, Valencia Fiorentina, AS Roma, Palermo, Werder Bremen and Atletico Madrid also have players nominated.
