Cannavaro getting the Ballon d'or is starting to look a little suspect given his performance last night.
Real showed that they have no creativity in midfield, leaving the forwards stranded for most of the game. Only Guti supplies this (and not consistently enough), so his getting injured after 20 minutes put paid to any chance of flowing football from Real Madrid.
Still, it was good to see some passion from the players, but this by itself will not be enough to win any trophies this season.
