The Belgravia group bid for the Magpies

Newcastle United is now the latest club ripe for a takeover. Reports are that the Belgravia Group have tabled a £235 m takeover of the Magpies. A spokesman for Belgravia said: 'We are still in negotiations, but no formal offer has been made and we do not comment on press speculation.'
