While on the subject of head injuries here's another one that could have been much worse than it turned out.Fulham goalkeeper Antti Niemi landed on his head while attempting to clear the ball (video).He could easily have broken his neck- but fortunately the latest reports say that he is okay.

I bloody hope, if ever there is a story, where a goalkeeper gets hurt, and the opposing player kicks the ball out of play, this is reported on this blog. It happened in a game in the African Cup of Nations and even that controversial player, Di Canio while with the Irons once kicked the ball out of play when he could have scored. Let's hope we see some good sportsmanship, in whatever league or sport.
