The hattrick he scored on the 10th of March had taken his tally to 995 goals.Now -believe it or not - he has scored another one...and this also happens to be his third hat trick in the new year.

His goal tally now stands at 998 - just two short of the magic number.Another hat trick and it will all be over -whether the fat lady sings or not !
