Blatter was the only candidate to register for the FIFA presidential election by the March 31 deadline.No rival emerged.This means that Blatter has therefore won the election and so will remain supreme commander of FIFA until 2011 – by which time Romario will hopefully have also managed to score his 1000th goal and then they both can retire and live happily ever after …and maybe things will get better after that.
