Manchester United does it in style.. a 7 - 1 victory over Roma.Goals by Carrick (2),Alan Smith, Rooney,Ronaldo (2) and Evra. De Rossi scored for Roma.Ferguson called it his " greatest night at Old Trafford."


Chelsea managed a last gasp 2 -1 win over Valencia - Shevchenko scored the first and Essien the second.He somehow managed to find the smallest of gaps between goalkeeper and goalpost in the dying seconds of extra time.
