..or maybe the title should read "sails on" because ships are supposed to sail on and not roll on but in any case it was a good night for Spain.Three spanish teams scored victories in UEFA cup games.Fredi Kanoute scored a controversial penalty as holders Sevilla beat Spurs 2-1 in the quarter-final first leg clash.Goals below.

Elsewhere Barcelona-based Espanyol took a 3 - 0 lead over Benfica and then went and conceded 2 goals.They however held on to win eventually.Goals here....
And Osasuna perhaps came up with the result of the night beating 1988 UEFA Cup winners Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 away.Goals below..
