Barton behind bars

Barton finds himself behind bars. The club that hires him next will have to pay his bail.

Meanwhile Jose Mourinho is dogged by another bad decision avoiding a dog-eared law. Who let his dog out? He did.

And only in England can you get such entries on the police blotter. Talk about self effacing.

"A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing police and was taken to a west London police station," said a Scotland Yard spokesman today. "He subsequently received a caution for obstructing police."

"A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Section 20 assault following an incident when a 30-year-old man was assaulted at Carrington."

Comments

I've said all along, I think, Barton needs to get out of England for a season or two, now comes some rumour with Roma; besides the leading candidate Everton. Sad situation for the young man but not totally lost.
