Wigan avoided relegation thanks to a 2 -1 win (Video) over Sheffield United but Wigan chairman Dave Whelan is going ahead with the legal challenge to the Premier League's decision not to deduct points from West Ham for fielding the ineligible Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano.
