Kevin Kuranyi keeps Schalke on track

Can Schalke pull off the improbable? Win its first Bundesliga title since the league began 44 years ago. Schalke is on 65 points, VfB on 64, and Werder Bremen on 63. With two matches remaining anything can happen and the title might be decided on goal differential. Kuranyi kept Schalke's aspirations alive with his header against Nuremberg. However VfB kept their run alive with a 2-0 win against Mainz. They are further bolstered by the return of Mario Gomez into the line up after his knee injury. Meanwhile, Bremen's high octane offense destroyed Hertha, 4-1 with Markus Rosenberg scoring a hat trick.

One thing for sure Bundesliga juggernauts Bayern Munich in their worst showing in more than a decade is cutting loose their purse strings and are said to have an expensive wish list which includes Luca Toni and Mathieu Delpierre.
