UEFA final

Espanyol scored a late extra-time equaliser to tie the game 2-2 with Sevilla.They had to play with 10 men for almost an hour after midfielder Moises Hurtado was sent off.

Sevilla won the shoot-out thanks to the failure of Luis Garcia, Jonatas and Marc Torrejon to convert their efforts.History repeated itself for Espanyol.They also lost out on penalties in the 1988 final against Bayer Leverkusen.
