Nike defend Rooneys' boot.

In the wake of Rooney's third foot injury there's some sort of a scientific enquiry afoot [pardon the pun] about whether lighter football boots are to blame.
Nike meanwhile who are responsible for the T90 Laser's Powerzone boot that Rooney was wearing when he keeled over are denying that their boots could be to blame.
