FIFA's altitude limit for international matches of 2,750m (9,022 ft) has been breached.
"Let us re-open the discussion," said Sepp Blatter as he climbed down, back tracked and sidestepped all at the same time."The FIFA Medical Committee have recommended that teams must acclimatise properly if they play at high altitude," he said.
"The committee wants to examine this, and other extreme playing conditions such as heat, pollution or humidity."
Maybe he will be able to do some similar manouvering as the May 29 deadline on Iraq comes closer and closer.Hope he has an exit strategy anyway.
