Ronaldo [senior] was involved in a blaze of glory recently.His team Corinthians completed an aggregate victory over Santos and won the Paulista championship.The blaze of glory happened due when a combination of fireworks and confetti caught fire just as Corinthian's captain William lifted the trophy.
"It was obvious that it was going to catch fire," Ronaldo told a news conference later "They should have thought of something better.William could have been burned and, instead of celebrating, we could now be visiting him in hospital." Luckily the damage was only superficial.Take a look...
