Video: Euro U 21 Semifinals: England 5 Sweden 4 (PKs)

Joe Hart dived three times to his left in succession. They were the wrong choices. He then dived to the right. That too was wrong. It did not matter as he saved the first PK from Marcus Berg and then Guillermo Molins tried to squeeze the ball to the left hand corner of goal but it ended up hitting the upright and bouncing away. Arsenal lads Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs converted their PKs to win it for England 5-4.

England now face Germany in the finals. For U-21 manager, Stuart Pierce this was his first final after failing to progress beyond the semi-final stage on three other occasions. Hart also earned a yellow card for straying of the line and will miss the finals.

It's about time England won a semi-final on penalties. We've been waiting years for this - even if it is the U-21's!

It was a great performance but a shame we even gave up the 3 goals to begin with. The result is all that counts though. Glad we're through to the finals.
