Ronaldo scored his first goal for Real Madrid as they beat the Ecuadorean side Liga de Quito in the Peace Cup.Ronaldo did the first small bit towards earning the 94million euro transfer fee when he won and then converted a penalty in the 48th minute.
Real Madrid won the game 4 -2 and it was one of Real's less high profile signings of the close season Esteban Granero otherwise known as El Pirata or The Pirate, bought from Getafe, who stole the show with a goal and created another for German international defender Christoph Metzelder.
Maybe that's why Sir Fergie is saying that Real Madrid will have their work cut out for them balancing an unbalanced team.
