Patrice Evra was a beast as he essentially took out the dangerous Aaron Lennon. Anderson finally got a goal in his 78th appearance. Darren Fletcher again showed why his suspension in the CL final against Barca was bemoaned by Sir Alex.
The distortion created by Ronaldo all these years is slowly subsiding as players recalibrate and discover a team. The last galactico left the building. Sir Alex will fight tooth and nail to keep Rooney at Old Trafford and the lack of offers from the big spending Liga suggest that they too recognize the former Everton man will probably end his career at the club.
