Man Utd have started clicking ominously

A goal down. A man down. And they come back and spank Spurs, 3-1. This was a huge test for both clubs. Were Spurs as good as they looked? Was Utd as vulnerable as they seemed?
What is really impressive about the way Man Utd have turned things around is that they are relying on players already within the club. Not expensive imports.
I have to say Ryan Giggs who by now has worn out any meaningful epitaph continues to be evergreen.
Wayne Rooney doing all the heavy lifting a man down and scoring a goal in the process is making Ronaldo’s absence less and less noticeable. Patrice Evra was a beast as he essentially took out the dangerous Aaron Lennon. Anderson finally got a goal in his 78th appearance. Darren Fletcher again showed why his suspension in the CL final against Barca was bemoaned by Sir Alex.
The distortion created by Ronaldo all these years is slowly subsiding as players recalibrate and discover a team. The last galactico left the building. Sir Alex will fight tooth and nail to keep Rooney at Old Trafford and the lack of offers from the big spending Liga suggest that they too recognize the former Everton man will probably end his career at the club.

  1. No one will stop the Red Devils they are very hot and I don’t think anyone will stop them. The departures of CR and Tevez is of less effect.Glory Man Utd.

  2. Victor, I think Man Utd will be much more of a threat if players like Anderson and Nani finally live up to their promise.
