An unusual occurrence.Of the 7 goals scored in the world cup qualifier between Greece and Latvia - two were scored off overhead kicks.One was scored for each team.Each scored from more or less the same angle at the same goal.
Maris Verpakovskis scored the first for Latvia like this......
Giorgos Samaras did the same for the Greeks scoring a similar goal from a similar angle...
The final score of the game was 5 - 2 and all the 4 remaining greek goals were scored by Theofanis Gekas.
