This is an incredible 82nd minute self goal scored by Gaston Aguirre.The goal knocked his team out of the qualifications for the Copa Libertadores.What could lead a normally level headed defender to smash the ball into his own net in such a manner? The only rational explanation is that he suddenly remembered the pigeon he had killed and felt really bad and so just kicked out at the ball.
