Sol Campbell is not the only one complaining about referees.
The FIGC (Italian FA) have questioned UEFA on the standard of referees in the Champions League after Fiorentina lost to Bayern Munich to what was clearly an offside goal.
FIGC president Giancarlo Abete had the following to say about the ref's error factor as recorded in the metric system."The error is a bad one because we are talking about meters, not centimeters,"

The Bayern goal was shocking......

Completely agree.... you can add the additional 1-2 minutes to the extra time at the end of the half so it's not considered a time out. Limit to a couple of most egregious calls to stop frivolity and time wasting.

Meters, indeed! Perfect scenario for a quick replay. Play stops anyway for at least 1-2 minutes during celebrations. Take a look and see. If conclusive evidence, reverse it. The replay system works best in college football (American), where they are set up to review every call, all game long. And when they do, it is typically very fast, unlike the NFL.
