Meet Arshavin the web guru

Seems like Andriy Arshavin has been moonlighting as an internet Deepak Chopra. His advise appears as free ranging as his pitch performances.

Here is Arshavin defending John Terry's actions. It is football's equivalent of Emile Zola's eloquent "J' accuse."

I also think Arshavin's Orwellian nightmare of tabloids inserting cameras in the pants of footballers to fulfill a prurient interest was just a step removed from the recent spy-gate. Kind of prophetic.

All this makes Arshavin a fascinating character. Footballers with wide ranging interests? Rio Ferdinand is another.
