Real Madrid joined Barcelona at the top of La Liga on a night of high drama.Both teams are equal on points with 13 matches to go.Barcelona only managed a draw against Almeria and that because of not one but two equalisers from Messi.
Real Madrid won their game against Sevilla 3 -2 mainly due to the fact that Rafael Van der Vaart scored a late winner.
