....with his feet ( clarification is essential for all irish people reading this as Henry has proved to be quite ambidextrous against them in the past - being able to score with either hand - with ease)
Below is a recently released picture from Domenech's top secret coaching manual showing him teaching Henry how high to keep his hand to score a goal without the ref seeing.Henry's hand,as you can see,is too high. But he rectified the error and scored that famous goal against the irish from the correct height.

And here now is footage of Henry against Tottenham using his feet only.

I was there too. Yeah, Henry looked good, ran well, showed a good first touch, and they really missed him in the second half with Spurs coming back.

Bale showed some class. And you are absolutely spot on about getting back to NYC being a nightmare

Just saw this article http://ssrn.com/abstract=1646855 on the magic formula to win the world cup. Its a statistical analysis that shows that a host country gets an extra 2.5 points in the group stage (that's practically an extra win!). Not only that, it says that the nationality of the coach makes no difference to a teams' success.

Check it out: http://ssrn.com/abstract=1646855

I was there too- d. Yeah, Henry looked good, ran well, showed a good first touch, and they really missed him in the second half with Spurs coming back. Bale showed some class. And you are absolutely spot on about getting back to NYC being a nightmare. Changing trains because the one we were on broke down and massive lines everywhere to get to one. It is in the burbs - the city feel is just not there. Henry will pull people but to what extent?

Henry looked damn good out there. Quite a game changer. It was a serious drop off for NYRB in the second half after he came off.

I was sitting second deck behind the goal he was attacking. I knew he'd score on us. Just like old times :\

On a side note... I am glad I'm not a Red Bulls fan. They cut some serious corners with that stadium. Not enough exits or stairways at all. And then transportation infrastructure was atrocious. The line to get on the PATH back to NYC was MASSIVE, and we were all coralled in some broke-ass sidewalk with police barriers. Trains running only every 30 minutes. A single doorway into the station to accommodate tens of thousands of people. We actually took the Newark-bound train back a stop, and then turned around to come NYC-bound the other way.

The only way I'm ever going back there is for a World Cup match, which there won't be, cause it'll be at the Meadowlands. Just awful. It took 3 hours to get from the stadium back to Brooklyn. These are definitely the New Jersey Red Bulls.

Henry is one hell of a player. Great pictures.
