Another classy act by the former Arsenal captain- whose inflated wage demands are being met by Spurs. Good luck to them.
He always seems to be the nimblest when it comes to changing clubs. On the field not so much. At least not nowadays. He will join Spurs on a one year contract with Harry Redknapp desperate to provide cover for injury prone Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate. But Gallas himself was injury riddled for long stretches the last two seasons. Redknapp is taking quite the gamble.
He was also quite a failure as a captain - mostly known as a sulk and losing whatever little composure he had. The bizarre sit in against Birmingham ranks up there and this summer he lost the plot when Patrice Evra was selected over him as leader of Les Bleus. Not that it mattered in the end. Evra was just as bad.
Spurs come visiting the Emirates on November 21st so Gallas should get quite a reception.
