Serie: AC Milan sink Sampdoria, 3-0

Every time one writes off Clarence Seedorf he comes up with the goods. Antonio Cassano scored against his former club and Robinho rounded off the scoring.

Sampdoria are now fighting relegation woes. The club won last on 13th February, 3-1 against Bologna and the side's goalscoring has completely dried up. Three goals in 9 matches since that day and just 26 for the season. Only Bari has scored less.

The lack of goals speaks to the loss in quick succession of quality players like Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini, the pair's fruitful strike combination led them to last seasons high of 4th in the Serie and a playoff spot in the Champions League.
