Luis Suarez seems hellbent on consigning Fernando Torres to the wayback machine and its Kuyt nice as Liverpool go Maxi against Newcastle. Andy Carroll discovers he does not have to do much against his former club.

Liverpool continues its resurgence under Kenny Dalglish and with a group of fresh homegrown talent augmented by some class signings have reason for optimism. John Henry has shown that he takes his role as Liverpool's owner seriously and is looking to trim the fat in a big way.
