Which look will he sport in the UAE?

Don Diego decides Dubai will be his next stop. He is to coach Al Wasl in the fledgling UAE Professional League on a two year contract. The club is owned by Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the brother of the present UAE potentate.

Al Wasl has been designated as one of the top twenty Asian clubs by the IFFHS. Francisco Yeste, the long time Atletico Bilboa midfielder and Khalid Darwish, UAE's version of Maradona are the familiar names on the squad. Past managers include Hassan Shehata, the present coach of the Egyptian national team and former Bafana Bafana coach Joel Santana.

The club finished fifth last year and Maradona's signing is seen as a step towards reaching the top.
