Some very harsh refereeing saw India collect two red cards in the first 24 minutes of their World Cup qualifier against the UAE. Defender Debarata Roy and goalie Subrata Pal were sent off for fouls that could have been dealt with more leniently. India to their credit managed to keep the score at 3 - 0 even though they playing with 9 men for most of the game.
