Ji Sung Park had the goal of the match. Man Utd showed flashes of brilliance in their short passing game leading to Anderson's opening goal. David Beckham had a couple of long distance salvos against his former club. Anders Lindegaard had to come up with a very good save to deny Beckham. The MLS All Stars could have at least claimed a goal through Omar Bravo but the Mexican striker missed an easy chance on a rebound.
Utd look very sharp in their pre-season. There are few encouraging signs for their rivals who will have to be very, very good if they have to dethrone the reigning champions.
