A record breaking crowd at Rochester's Sahlen Stadium saw many of the heroes of the Women's World Cup in action between the Western New York Flash and magicJack.

Christine Sinclair showing no ill effects of her broken nose sustained in the Germany clash scored two goals and assisted in another as the Flash ran out 3-1 victors over magicJack. The biggest cheers were reserved for Alex Morgan who replaced her in the 80th minute. Morgan's performance in the World Cup finals lifted the USA with a goal and an assist on Abby Wambach's strike. The Flash also had Marta in the ranks and the wily Brazilian provided Sinclair with her second goal.

Abby Wambach, a Pittsfield PIttsford native was honoured by the mayor of Rochester with keys to the city in front of the biggest crowd to see a sporting event in that city since Pele's Cosmos came visiting more than three decades ago.
