The bad news just keeps piling up. Bacary Sagna who had to be stretchered off after his ankle crumpled following a collision with Benoit Assou-Ekotto has been ruled out for three months with a broken fibula of the right leg. This injury further decimates the already decimated back line.

19 year old Carl Jenkinson will see lots of playing time. Wenger can also call on Francis Coquelin for emergency right back duty. With Alex Song pairing up with Per Mertesacker, we could see three holding midfielders on the field.

There are no return dates for Johan Djourou and Sebastian Squillaci. Thomas Vermaelen is expected back end of the month. Abou Diaby should be available next week.
