Clint Dempsey is US player of the year

Clint Dempsey has been voted the Futbol de Primera USA national-team player of the year for the second time - the last time being way back in 2006.He got 375 points and 99 first place votes .The also rans were Tim Howard - second with 252 points and Landycakes - third with 191 points.
Dempsey scored four goals in 12 games in the U.S.A this year.That made it 23 goals in 80 international appearances.His goal for Fulham last week brought him level with Brian McBride for the most EPL goals scored by Americans.
