Here are the highlights of the USA vs Dominican Republic CONCACAF Olympics match played in Vancouver, BC. Abby Wambach and Co., made mincemeat of 88th seeded Dominican Republic. Amy Rodriguez scored five, Heather O' Reilly poured in another three as the US Women scored a record 14 goals to nil.

The only sour note struck was the knee injury to Ali Krieger after she was tackled which saw her stretchered off just before half time. Pia Sundhage was preparing for the worst.

"It's probably a serious injury," U.S. coach Pia Sundhage said. "By tomorrow we'll know exactly what it is."

The USA play Guatemala next before preparing for the big showdown with Mexico on January 24th. Two teams qualify from the CONCACAF region for the 2012 London Olympics soccer tournament to be held in late summer.

Seems kind of unsports(wo)manlike to keep scoring after 8 goals or so. Just rubbing it in?
