Tim Howard’s stunning goal drops like a bolt from the sky

szólj hozzá: Howard amazing goal
Bolton’s Bogdan could do little but look stunned after Tim Howard booted the ball upfield and it took a bounce that evaded him altogether. The wind played a huge part probably carrying it a good 10-15 yards further than expected. Howard refused to celebrate mindful of goalkeeper union rules. The stunning goal hogged the headlines obscuring the equally stunning comeback by Bolton for an exceedingly rare win. David Ngog equalized and minutes later Gary Cahill signed off his Bolton career in fine style scoring the winner. He will probably leave for Chelsea seeking an antidote to their center back conundrum.
Howard’s goal shares company with Charlie Williams, Pat Jennings, Peter Shilton, and most recently Paul Robinson. The MLS last year produced this beauty by David Bingham of the San Jose Earthquakes. The goalie at the receiving end was West Brom’s Boaz Myhill.
